This collection contains a history of the Arctic Brotherhood related by Dr. I.H. Moore, along with the Brotherhood's constitution, articles of incorporation and ritualistic ceremony. The collection also includes correspondence, an Arctic Club pamphlet, billing statements, camp anthem, paid checks, annual proceedings, minutes from Camp Fairbanks, Camp Cleary and Camp Chitina, semi-annual reports, postcard invitations, and a membership roster.

The Arctic Brotherhood was founded by eleven men on board the "S.S. City of Seattle" on February 26, 1899 while enroute to Skagway. Upon landing in Skagway Camp #1 was established. Other camps soon formed in Nome, Fairbanks, Dawson and most placer mining camps. The Arctic Brotherhood is a social organization with the goal of providing a closer and more intimate association for men in Alaska and the Yukon Territories.
